Budro has for many years been more than just a good friend to me and to the support group efforts. He has spent many hours writing our linux channel service bots. He found us the best shell accounts for them to run on as well. He has been there for me and for us as a group. I first met Bud on efnet when we were both fighting abuse and the takeover of channels. Quite often he or I would take channels back from hackers and give them back to the rightful owners.

This was quite an undertaking fighting abuse on efnet in those days and fighting the constant takeovers. The things that we did and the few others that fought abuse on efnet helped make efnet a better and safer net today. All of our support groups are now back on efnet and doing well with no harassment of any kind, largely due to the protective measures we have taken following Budro's advice on channel service bots and protection.

We now have many totally secure channels because of Budro's hard work and contribution to the project of having peer to per support groups for many different medical conditions. All I can say is thanks bro for being there for me and for us as a group. You're the best friend a man could ever ask for.
